"Just moved into the neighbourhood and was walking my dog when I came across Cod Father. Thought to just try it with some fish. YUMMMMMM. My new go to for dinners. Highly recommend"

"Ordered battered cod, potato scallops and chips with chicken salt. Grabbed on our way back from Westfield Chermside to Brisvegas. I went in to pay and waited in the car with elderly parents and they came looking for me with my food once cooked. Will be going back!"

"Went here with a work mate last week. The fish was fresh enough, though the chips were a bit soggy for my liking. Staff were friendly and it was quick service, which helped. Not a bad spot if you're around the area, but not something I'd go out of my way for."

"It was recommended to me and I've since been there 3 times and each time was really good. The cooking oil is changed regularly which makes the chips very crisp on the outside and the potato inside deliciously cooked. We had the cod and a chicko roll which were nicely cooked as expected. Their premises is very clean and the staff extremely polite. As you have probably guessed, I'll be going back for my fish and chips fix."

"The Cod Father offers a fantastic take-out experience for fish and chips lovers. The fish is perfectly battered—crispy and golden—while the cod is flaky and fresh. The chips are thick-cut and well-seasoned, striking the right balance between crunchy and fluffy. Portions are generous, ensuring good value for money. The staff are friendly and quick, making the ordering process smooth. Selection of carbonated drinks are also available"

"In every way a classic fish n chips joint this family business is great and the young man who takes my order speaks with a powerful voice indeed! The food is always great and I sense a fun energy in the space. I've given a lower rating for atmosphere only due to the restaurant facing onto Stafford Road. Perhaps some plants or even some laminate boards bolted onto the support struts to block out the traffic, some amber lights and an old radio and bobs your uncle you've got a top quality hang out with great food! In anycase I recommend the Cod Father!"

"Gorgeous first try of The Codfather tonight! Recently moved to the area and very happy to have gone in tonight. Service was super friendly on all angles, owner and FOH were so welcoming and the food itself was delicious and plentiful. Great value all round. Boyfriend destroyed his burger and absolutely loved it! Thanks, team!"
